Description

 Principal Accountabilities

1)    Liaise with the Line Manager, develop and implement a market/consumer driven business - marketing plan in line with the department objectives. Assist with end to end account management on aspects pertaining to contracts, collections, inventory management and forecast on stock as required

2)    Participate proactively and in consultation with the Line manager develop marketing strategies to secure maximum revenue production from key accounts assigned on a long term basis. Challenge traditional marketing strategies and develop new unconventional methods to position the assigned brands  as a preferred product

3)    Monitor all competitor activities and thereafter translate its impact on the division’s sales revenue plan. Further to the evaluation, develop and present counter campaigns to negate competitor objectives thus sustain market share for the assigned brands

4)    Engineer marketing activities to promote the brands  and all other services with all key accounts, to enhance continued customer loyalty in U.A.E based on seasonal demands (High Vs Low) whilst maintaining / increasing market share thereby generating sales revenue

5)    Manage the brands assigned, and monitor, counsel, review daily activities to facilitate smooth service delivery to all customers.  Motivate and invigorate energy in the team to exploit their potential to its fullest thus exceeding all expected service standards

6)    Formulate means and methods of increasing customer database for effective use in all sales, marketing related activities. Data capture to encompass all current / potential consumers, business houses, corporate accounts and ensure that latest information is always available within the marketing database.

7)    Initiate market research activities in liaison with the line manager to gauge current brand positioning with consumers and corporate accounts alike whilst recommending means and ways to improve on acquired results.

8)    Monitor the annual marketing / advertising/promotions budget plan & expenditure forecast, prepare required reports and maintain documented accounts for each project in an organised manner to ensure smooth function of all advertising and promotional activities.

9)    Guide and brief the team on a regular basis of any advertising and promotional campaigns happening in the market prior to the launch, to ensure full understanding of the programmes so that the set objectives agreed with the line managers are achieved

10) Attend trainings and seminars arranged by the principal brands for new products and awareness. Upon obtaining the knowledge ensure the same in cascaded within the department / dealers / sales team and ensure there are tools in place to evaluate the skills and expertise of technicians from a time to time basis

11) Evaluate staff performance and propose appropriate means of recognition to management. Facilitate with carrying out assessments for new / approved positions. Identify development needs and the fulfilment of the same

 

Minimum Requirement

·         Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University. A degree in Hotel Management would be an added advantage

·         Minimum 7 years experience of which 2 years should be in a supervisory role in a similar industry

·         Bilingual would be an advantage

·         Problem solving & Decision making

·         UAE Driving license

·         Advanced Inter-personal and Planning & Organizing skills
