Job Purpose:

• Operate gate pass procedures
• Operating computer in relation documents, mail etc
• Operating and monitoring CCTV

• To remain alert all the time in the maintenance of the Control Rooms integrity and in the protection of its assets.
• Ensure Control Room is maintained in a state of continual operational readiness.
• Ensure that visitors and contractors to the Control Room are checked in and issued with an appropriate access pass.
• Are not allowed to enter the Control Room unannounced.
• Are aware of what actionsto take in the event of an emergency
• Provide telephone support service during and out -with normal working hours
• Contact police if deemed necessary
• Contact the management if necessary
• Keep control room and personal appearance up to the established service
• Carry out additional duties as required during emergencies
• Operating computer in relation to security documents, mails etc
• Updates and amends Security Operating Procedures and Instructions, in consulation with the Security Manager and/or appropriate issuing authority

• Monitoring of various alarm systems and carrying our appropriate procedures
• Capable of communicating diplomatically and sometimes discreetly on operational matters with all team members and other personnel invloved in security matters
• Able to communicate on daily basis with JAM group employees up to and include managers
• Is able to issue and receive detailed instructions both verbal and written
• Attends and contributes to team meetings and briefings that enhance team work.
• Maintain log of issuing and receiving related keys
• Maintain records of lost and found property
• Maintain control Room logbook.
