Job Purpose: 

• To carryout the required mechanical jobs in cooperation with mechanical engineers and under their supervision.

• Conducts pre-delivery inspection for sold equipment.
• Commissions new plant equipment under supervision of senior mechanic or service engineer if required.
• Performs semi-skills (or skilled for experienced mechanic) service and repair of equipment. 
• Repairs and overhauls of systems like diesel engines, automatic transmission, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment depends on the division.
• Checks and measures parts for reusability.
• Inspects, checks and determines the nature of repair and examines parts to detect imperfections using measuring instruments as required.
• Uses and refers to service and operating manual while carrying out their assignments.

• Technical school graduate or equivalent experience.
• 2 Years experience.
• Appropriate safety precautions and procedure.
• Knowledge of basic tools, lubricants, equipment and service procedures.
• Acceptable spoken and written English with communication skills.
