2) Prepare bank release letter, shipping guarantee application for L/C and CAD shipments to have the shipping documents and go ahead with clearance process on time.
3) Post the shipping documents details database maintained in excel sheet and oracle, for tracking the shipment status.
4) Apply for customs Import/Export bill of entry, Statistical Export declaration, vehicle clearance certificate through E- clearance provided by Dubai Trade website www.dubaitrade.ae (Mersal 2) for clearing the shipments under Air/ Sea and Land freights.
5) Submit the original shipping documents timely to the Customs so that they can verify the contents of the Bill of entry passed.
6) Applying online though UAE Ministry of Economy website for the exemption of custom duty on import of Industrial raw material.
7) Process and Follow up the claim with Insurance Company for the damaged items so that the concern business department is compensated accordingly.
8) Receive Exit/Entry certificates from various business units in order to present it to customs and get the duty refunded on the goods which are re-exported.
9) Forward all the import-shipping documents copy and related bank advices to accounts to make costing of the shipment.
10) Arrange for refund of deposit for non original documents.
11) Inform businesses units, warehouse and transportation section for the shipments which are ready for clearance to enable the warehouse to give the schedule of delivery.
