Juma Al Majid Est – T&B Division launches new series of Yokohama tyres

Juma Al Majid Est. – Tyres & Batteries Division celebrated today the launch of 4 new series of Yokohama tyres – the Advan Fleva V701, Geolandar A/T G015, BlueEarth ES32, and the Proforce RY01 during a gala event at a desert campsite in Sharjah.
The event themed under the name of Desert Dream 2019 included a technical presentation staged to highlight the special features of the new tyres, followed by a ceremony where special awards were handed out to dealers for their exemplary performance through the year. The event was attended by the presence of Mr. Vikas Anand – General Manager the group’s T&B Division and Mr. Harada, General Manager Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd. – Middle East & Africa, as well as dealers and staff from the group.
The Advan Fleva V701 is a high-performance/sports car tyre, with wide sword grooves that increase block stiffness and enhances the direct feeling of handling the vehicle, while reducing tyre noise, thereby enhancing ride quietness. The Geolander A/T G015 Pattern on the other hand is an SUV tyre, with an on and/or off-road application and offering excellent wet grip and off-road traction. The tyre comes with 3-D shaped sipes that provide improved wear resistance by ensuring an edge effect for high-level driving performance and block rigidness. Whereas the BlueEarth ES32 is a saloon car tyre with a low pattern noise, fuel saving and wet traction, and the Proforce RY01 pattern is an on-road, all-position commercial vehicle radial tyre that is ideal for normal highway driving. The tyre comes with a sidewall protector that provides protection against damage.
As a part of the fanfare, a raffle draw and safari drive were also organized, followed by a falcon show, dune bashing and a photoshoot to round up the day’s activities.
