Celebrating Performance

In a ceremony held on Friday 25th February 2022, the Group’s Chief Operating Officer Mr. Tarig Shalabi – awarded over 40 employees from across the Group’s businesses and divisions for their outstanding performance, dedication and professionalism at work.

Mr. Shalabi addressed all attendees by saying: “It gives me great pleasure and pride to award each of these employees with a certificate and a financial reward… On behalf of the Group, I would like to convey my sincere thanks to all the wining employees for their contributions and hard work.”

The ceremony also included the announcement of the Best Performing Business Unit Award – for the first time within the Group – themed under the name of the Keep Moving Forward Business Award in honor and in keeping with the philosophy of H.E. Juma Al Majid – Group Founder & Chairman.  Announcing the winning business unit: “This was a very close competition as several business units performed exceptionally well, and I am super proud of all these operations.  However, it was Al Majid Motors – KIA UAE that aced and exceeded all set and agreed KPI’s – Financial Metrics, Customer Metrics, Process Metrics & People Metrics.  Let us take such performance as inspiration for us all and work towards the common good of the Group.  Let us all work together, keep moving forward and achieve new heights of success.”

The event took place at the KIA – The Move showroom and was attended by Mr. Abdullah Al Majid, Mr. Majid Khalid along with members of the C-Suite team,  Directors and General Managers from the Group’s business units.
