Juma Al Majid Holding Group is proud to announce the launch of “GCEO Dialogues” – an Employee Engagement Program initiated by Mr. Tarig Shalabi, Group Chief Executive Officer, to foster open communication and strengthen relationships with employees. Designed for junior staff members, the program provides a platform for dialogue, learning, suggestions and collaboration across the Group.

The inaugural session, held on 18 February 2025, brought together 25 employees from diverse roles, including accountants, customer service officers, security staff, coordinators, IT, engineers and others, representing Group CBUs. The session took place in a comfortable and casual setting, encouraging open and honest conversations. Participants were given the opportunity to share their experiences, voice concerns, and discuss ideas for improving processes and contributing to the Group’s ongoing success.

During the session, Mr. Tarig Shalabi expressed his enthusiasm for connecting directly with employees and gaining a deeper understanding of their day-to-day challenges and aspirations. While acknowledging the difficulty of meeting with every group employee one-on-one, he emphasized the importance of these engagements in creating a more connected and empowered workforce. He encouraged employees to take initiatives in their roles—whether by identifying new efficiencies, improving processes, or driving cost savings—and highlighted that personal and professional growth is essential to the Group’s long-term success. He also underscored that success is rooted in consistency, performance, and achievement, and urged participants to think beyond their job descriptions, embrace new challenges, and actively contribute to the Group’s growth.

A recurring theme throughout the session was the importance of maintaining a growth mindset. Drawing a parallel between physical fitness and mental development, the GCEO emphasized that just as one builds physical strength through regular exercise, developing new skills and fostering intellectual growth is equally critical for personal and professional advancement.

Juma Al Majid Holding Group remains committed to fostering a culture of engagement, empowerment, and continuous development. The GCEO Dialogues is set to become a continuous initiative, to include staff from across all Group Sectors, SBUs, BUs and CBUs, ensuring that employees at all levels have a platform to contribute their insights, help shape the Group’s future, and drive innovation.
